I’m a strategic, entrepreneurial designer who is currently a graduate student at UC Berkeley’s School of Information. I pivoted from a career in analytics and financial services at BlackRock to bring new technologies to the real world, leveraging a background in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) and Behavioral Economics. My recent work includes using AR and sound design to help with visual impairment.

I am active in the design and startup ecosystem, from teaching design thinking classes at the Haas School of Business, to building a design team for SkyDeck Berkeley as Design Director. I believe design plays a unique role in early-stage startups, in aligning the vision, strategy, business model, and product to solve the needs of the customer. 

At UC Berkeley, I also serve on the Student Advisory Board of the Jacobs Institute for Design Innovation to advise design teams and bring design to a wider audience. When I’m not working, I’m an occasional traveler, maker, pianist, and photographer :)
